Always sad to see and hear it when the shit rats start killing cops.

Sorry I'm late on a response. Prayers sent to all those loved ones left behind.

I did catch the capture of this guy. I have to say it couldn't have worked out better.

Thanks medic... We layed to rest another one yesterday. This hit (not too close to home) but at home. This brother was gunned down while giving a guy a break and taking him home. Why (too close to home?) The deputy was one who always stopped by the station, always saw him on calls and I was one of the medics who I had to work on him after the battle. His partner was also hit, but survied, bad guy went down as well. Its been a tough 2 months we've lost 6 law enforcement officers, and just heard that a 7th died after he crashed his car 2 days ago. I have a lot of officer friends, they are the brothers I never had. Its tough seeing them go down for the dumbest reasons. I can only hope this is the end of the funerals for a while...

Man oh man, thats way to close to home brother. I unfortunately have experienced the same. It takes a good chunk out of us working on friends. I know as you do we all carry an invisable satchle of hurt from the calls we see. I hope your OK dude. When I return from the North I'll give you a phone call. I'll PM my number to you.
